Accumet Engineering Inc is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer for new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee and manage our daily production operations to ensure efficient workflow, quality output, and adherence to safety and production targets.

 Responsibilities 

• Develop and manage daily production schedules, monitor workflow, and adjust resources to meet targets and ensure on time delivery. 
• Lead, mentor, and provide performance evaluations for machine operators and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards, monitor scrap rates, and ensure output meets established quality standards
• Leading and motivating production teams, providing training and development opportunities, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. 
• Working with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and engineering, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient production processes. 
• Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment. 
• Identifying and resolving production issues, implementing solutions, and continuously improving processes. 
• Analyzing production data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting on production performance.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience in machine shop operations an added advantage

 Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.  Specific vision ability is required which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
